She also bravely recounted her experiences of being in an abusive relationship, particularly her first marriage, where she endured abuse and struggled to protect her children. She bravely recounts the harrowing moments of realizing the abuse her daughters faced and the pivotal decision to break free from the cycle of violence.

 

Alicia highlighted the need for women to take control of their lives, break the cycle of abuse, and seek support from people and organizations. 

 

Her story is a testament to the power of courage, determination, and self-empowerment in overcoming adversity.
